Drawn Together vs Team Chaos Theory 0-2

First match we had a healer hench and a player reconnecting all the match, so a crap match from our side.

Second match was closer, but the same player disconnected right at 10 minutes into the match and couldn't reconnect. Good game though!

Frogs In The Ghetto Say Moo [DaWg] 2-0 by forfeit to Exxxcited French. We were willing to play at 4am EST so they could have their precious sleep, but they said it was still inconvient for them. Blah. I hate whiners.

I made a general statement that I despise whiners. This is relevant to all whiners the world over. No single group of whiners was elevated above another.

As for sleep, it's highly over-rated, and my guild was up well into the wee hours trying to make the match as convienent for our opponents as possible. We gave 3 different match times that were highly inconvienent for us, but should have been very convienent for our opponent. The fact is none of them worked for them and after Early Sunday morning, I never heard another word from our opponent guild.

I think that it is a shame that the fallback times, and the tournament in general is so difficult to pull off. I was looking forward to actually battling my opponents, not winning by default. Don't assume that because one comment (that I hate whiners) means that I hate my opponents, or that I am a hater in general. Quite the opposite is true. The leader of Exxxcited French was very pleasant to speak with - and we had a nice discussion about the game in general. Perhaps I should have prefaced my comments better - but meh, the fact is that if someone wants to find something to pick at on a forum, they will.

At anyrate, I'm looking forward to a better match up in the next round so that DaWg might actually get to play a game.

Yeah, a good number of players were banned right before their matches or during their matches for foul language, flaming, and racial slurs. Big brother is watching you.

hmm..when we started the first match with [ugly] some guys made some "comments" about europe...was this really the reason they got banned?

I'm not sure about specific cases, but I had heard that a number of people were banned for those reasons and they were players in the tournament. The bans were either 24 hours or 48 hours, definetely not permanent.

heh feel sorry for u chris, we had 5am to like i alrdy pmed u in game it was sheduled 5am tuesday and both our gvg callers couldn't make it so gg 2-0 loss. They had to run fighter henchy instead of our bull's charge as well
